ROSE and DAFFODIL ROOMS

Rose : Step inside a rose. This suite is like the interior of a rose garden. Amidst the rose décor  is an antique claw foot tub nestled in an arch. A hand carved canopy king bed with feather comforters. (all rooms have feather comforters) A rose printed couch for relaxation and a sit down mirrored vanity table.

Daffodil: The daffodil room, brightly colored yellow with two antique twin beds shares the Jacuzzi bathroom with the rose room. Perfect for children.

WISTERIA ROOM

The Wisteria Room, painted in the royalty of purple, has a four poster rice bed, a desk area built by a wood craftsman covering the country side on horseback over 75 years ago. An open archway connects this room to its private bath with a garden tub surrounded by blooming African violets. Bathroom also has a shower and sit down vanity dressing table on the opposite side of the garden tub.

Before your stay at the bed and breakfast ends, make your mark on the wall of the signature room. A small standing room only upstairs room where their children deemed a secret club house. The walls still display color crayon club house notes. The small room has  now become a collection hub for  signatures of the bed and breakfast guest.  The original use for the space was a “dark room” where  one of the home owners, Aubrey Mallette, a then local pharmacist enjoyed his hobby and skill of film developing.

The small room originally used by Mr. Mallette to develop film has served as a secret club house for the Keahey kids and their childhood friends. 

The blue community room adjoining the community kitchen is equipped with bar stools and a dinner table from the 1950’s. In this room, enjoy a hand of cards, dominoes or a board game.  The wall murals makes one think they are abroad in the architect of Italy.
